As if it were our best.

As if it were our best.

A Poem by Adster
"

A Response to Kat-Marie

"

Though life can often seem the same

Cluttered mess, so complex and plain.

The world is greater than you know

In the dirt, the trees, the sand and the snow.

The world is made of far more than shades of grey

Unfathomable richness of colours in a single day.

Though those moments may fade from view,

We awake the next, to something made anew.

Take the time to enjoy the little things,

Find the hidden secrets, the quiet meanings.

Though the Summers may be far away

The Winters hold their own soothing way.

Breathing is never such a hard thing to face

When we can depend on others to take the pace.

Take every moment as they are and feel alright,

So even the darkest times  shine bright.

Author's Note

Adster
This is my first piece in a long time and at first I didn't know what to write until I read Kat-Marie Bertï's poem entitled 'We Live Each Day As If It Were Our Last'. Though it is an incredible poem, the sadness in it made me want to counter it with my own optimism.
I hope it's alright. :)
