Interlude

On a troubled day,

seek that certitude

that may guide your way

to a better mood.

You'll find what you're looking for

down each moment's corridor.

If your skies turn gray,

seek beatitude

watching every ray

that clouds don't preclude.

Clouds enrich light all the more

casting beams within each core.

Should love go astray,

seek some solitude,

forget your dismay,

don't let grief intrude.

Unencumbered you shall soar

where you've never gone before.

Like a child at play,

seek that attitude

that ignores the sway

of a world gone rude.

Find that niche that you adore,

take a bow, give an encore.

Don't let troubles stay,

seek that fortitude

that degrades each fray

in the interlude.

Where there's rubble, where there's roar,

don't ignore gems to explore.

An interesting piece...I like the use of the derivations of "-ude" words. This was a little odd at the start, but then when I got into the flow of it I understood the format and the feeling. A great poem to explore pulling oneself out of the depths, so to speak. We all feel down at times, but we must stop, breathe, look around ourselves and take stock in what is actually real and tangible. Emotions can be effected by attitude.

This is why Ialways wanted to start from the past or further back looking for some old recipe . This one is really good and perhaps classic and timeless . Each stanza or paragraph Icould break it down and frame it so I could hang it in my wall . This is a very inspiring piece . Full of life lessons and wisdom. Just simply reading every line already giving me some goosebumps . If this is a chess game . I think I'm in the midst and presence of a super grandmaster . I concede here . Totally awesome wordings and novelty .
