Crucifixion  ( A Villanelle )

They don't have a clue
to a truer way,
a new point-of-view.

Shown by things they do
and the words they say,
they don't have a clue.

Vile thoughts they pursue
make them underplay
a new point-of-view.

Now they torture you.
They don't see your ray.
They don't have a clue.

They don't see what's true
as they bleed and slay
a new point-of-view.

Soon you touch the blue
from your shell of clay.
They don't have a clue,
a new point-of-view.

Someone murdered something here . Taking from the word underplay . Ok my take here Aethereal is someone doesn't like a new idea or a new way of doing things. People really don't like or are often resistant to change. Some says its been like this and we been doing it like this and its going to stay like this ...

Perhaps that's where the word " outsourcing " came from and invented.

Thanks, Morgan! Refrains found in Villanelles add beauty to any subject written within its form. It reads like a prayer, a song, or a chant. I kept to only two rhyme sounds throughout this poem, but this isn't necessary for a Villanelle.
