Contradictions

So much contradictions within me.

What are words? 

mild expressions 

of untamed emotions

Too many jumbled words on my head 

Too many overused plots 

and cliche villains 

The mind endures 

holding on to sanity 

words are my sanity 

salvation from depression 

hope from the wreckage 

words kill me slowly 

keeping me alive 

keeping me breathing
