To my unborn child

To my unborn child

A Poem by keegan

Do you like the cherry blossoms falling on the ground? I enjoy watching them. This will be my last conversation with you, my child, once you are born they will take you from me. They say you will be a great warrior a true hero. But you always be my child promise me.

- promise me you will hone your skills and warm your heart. With happiness even if it's something small. there is a lot of bad things in this world but learn how to appreciate the little things and what is left of this world. Promise me you will keep your eyes open for your other half trust me she will find you before you find her.

What else could I possibly say oh yes promise me that you will return I would like to see you as a man. I wonder how handsome you will be perhaps you will have your Father's Eyes maybe his smile. Just know that I promise you

- I will always be behind you walking the same path no matter which one you take. I will hold you up when you cannot stand. I will bear any weight that attempts to crush your heart-

I think that's about it for today. If you are not born in the middle of the night I promise we will have another conversation tomorrow
