A Big Mistake

here i want to tell about my mistakes... trying to correct them in my remaining life:(

Sometimes I think talking to you

is a mistake

Telling you my feelings is a mistake

you never try to understand my feelings..

I was stupid to take you

as my everything.

I was stupid to see you

as my bestfriend

you never try to be in my position

Sometimes I feel like 

giving up on you.

I will always remember this mistake

and will never do it again ever.

Mistakes taught us not to trust 

someone again 

But it really pains when 

that someone really means a lot.

I know how it feels when you consider someone to be your everything and then one fine day you realise you are nothing more than an option in his or her life. The feeling sucks!!

I had a lot of my own unpleasant experiences floating around in my head as I read this. I can relate to some of the things you said, unfortunately. Luckily to say, I haven't been having this issue as much anymore. Those last two lines are super important to me. They're huge in the situation I'm referring to in my brain. It's like you took them right out of my head. But then sometimes, you have to think: Maybe this person doesn't really mean a lot if they hurt me (you). I guess there's a lot of different viewpoints.
I've always enjoyed finding poems I can relate to. I thank you very much for sharing this with all of us! I think it was really good, you got the point across well, and it just sounded good altogether. Great job!

Such a very passionate poem!!! And so true!!! I hate it when you trust someone to be your friend, but they stab you in the back and you realize that trusting them was a mistake. But mistakes are only mistakes and youre suppose to learn from them :)
