A Poem by Aladdin Soltan

Have you ever had that puzzle piece that didn't fit in any one place
In fact it could have went in any space
It adapts to the environment it's delt
"Well it's been here from the start" one felt
But of course they were wrong
This piece has been lost for very long
Jumping from puzzle to puzzle
Only to get more puzzled
The piece never fit in one place best
Just fit well in all places nonetheless
But the purpose of a piece is to complete a whole perfectly
What's a life for a puzzle piece without certainty
Owner to owner, home to home
The puzzle piece has never felt more alone
Convinced that it's life is utterly meaningless
It starts to become feelingless
Sitting as 1001 in the 1000 piece Great Wall puzzle
The piece starts to hear a bustle
Out of the box onto the itchy carpet
It sees a sad blonde hair boys face turn scarlet
"It's okay James I'm sure we'll find it"
The boy poked his finger where the last Whinnie the pooh puzzle piece should have fit
The piece stared at the disheartened boy
It thought these puzzles only brought joy
But what's the joy in an unfinished task
It's like a secret identity with no mask
The piece would make himself known
The fathers eyes gleamed when he saw that piece all alone
Finally whinnie and Eroy were trotting along
The boys laughter was exhilarating like a good song
This versatile piece quickly saw his worth
The boys shiny smile triggered a rebirth
As long as the piece was completing
He'd never question his meaning
