a nagging dilema.

a nagging dilema.

A Poem by alan khan

there is a feeling
most of me can get

that aside from p***y
working out
eatting semi vegan (though f**k that vegan s**t)
and the occasional indulgence of cannabis

where i just want to write.

about nothing at all in particular,

not great message i have to convey
no real meaning behind my words.

i just want to play around with words.

writers all judge themselves differently,

most have a pretentious self entitlement
to hold themselves up into artists esteem.

believing themselves to be men or women of importance.

people who will read this and say to themselves, "this is a blog, not a poem."

writing is writing
words are words

we are writers (imo) because we thrive on the
magic behind words.

be it story
jounral,
poem

what f*****g have you,

we are prey to words.

and as much as i hate saying all that
it's true.

i firmly admit to saying,
most of those silly
pyschofuckingdellic
poems you see me writing
mean nothing at all.

just me liking how i can manipulate words to somewhat resemble
beauty.

but you people, who just go on and on and try to convince
others and yourselves

that you mean anything at all behind it well...

and the words strung together make sentences and the sentences make pages and the pages make books..words are everyones and noone's..you continue to play..I like the fact that you wrote from the heart and made no excuses for that..nice

Writing is writing. Words are words. Deep stuff.
Lol are you angry or something? But this is really good. A bit lengthy, but the movement kept me going. You aren't afraid to stand out, are you? Doesn't matter to me. Your style was especially good.
Another 100 so you can get that freaking award...but you are good, remember that.
I'm definitely reading more from you.

words are pop rocks waiting to explode inside the right mouth that will give it a brand new explosive force~and feed it back to the world with a brand new flavor and texture~one of the reasons I subscribe to your writing is because YOU do that exceptionally well~!!!~ I dig the deep dives into creative usage and reinterprative definitives~ poetry is mind floods~its soul hurricanes~ heartquakes recreating the plate tectonics of our own frameworks of perception~ I can soooooooo tell the difference between contrived writingand word bleeding~ I prefer my poetry with a bloody underbelly unafraid of cuts and slashes~

Tells the people who tell you write Blogs. Go back 500 years. Poetry was great words and conversation. Poetry has many purposes. Some to excite you. Some to teach you and some to piss you off. I like this poem. I learn from the style of the old Poets. They like to bring you in. I don't know. If I was a young man and free. P***y is better then writing on most occasion. A excellent poem. You made me think as always.
