not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's
will is"his good, pleasing and perfect will. I believe that a restored
mind is coming for all who ask for it. The definition of Restoration is: The
renewal of something to its formal state. In order to have restoration, we did
to allow God to change the way we think. We need to push discipline ourselves
to see the way He sees. What does the word mind mean? It is a reasoning facility. That is why we as people always seem to reason what it is that God has for us or calls us to do. Who are we to reason with the Almighty God? All who knows Him reasons with him because although we love Him, we are of the flesh and we as people at one time or another think we have the answers. So in order to serve God with a clean heart and mind, we need to allow God too bring back (restore) our reasoning facility (minds) to its original state. The way He created us to be. A Child's mind usually responds to how we tell it to. Well I believe God is looking for a child like heart and mind within His people. I have seen first hand what the enemy has imparted in the hearts of our men and women of God. There is a strong spirit of frustration, anger, and resentment among our people of God today. What God has meant for greatness, the enemy intends to destroy for his own selfish desire. So as I sit here today, I cry out for God to pour down his spirit upon His people. We were created to do great things. There is a calling on our lives, an anointing to bring forth the word of God. To bring forth healing to the broken hearted. Not to take anything away from women or that a woman is not called or anointed to do the work of God, because we as women have an abundance of anointing flowing through us by God. I know for my household it is hard to be a strong and vibrant woman of God if my husband is always full of frustration and anger. It’s also hard for my husband to stay in a spirit of joy and praise when I walk around with attitude taking it out on the whole house. There is a saying that one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. That goes along with our relationships with our husbands, wives, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters and children. So how can we continue to live with our loved ones who are falling from God? How can we continue to be strong in Christ? We study the word of God more then we ever have. We go to God in prayer. We get on our face daily before God in worship. Thank Him ahead of time for the healing He is bringing to the hearts of His people. Desperation is what I feel, desperately crying out for the healing of the hearts and minds of all the righteous men and women called by our Heavenly Father. In the last several years I have seen some mighty people of God fall. I’m talking from a complete change in lifestyle to a person who has lost all faith and hope in the one who created him. We need to start speaking good things into their lives. Proverbs 18:21 says: the tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit. A great start to allowing our men and women of God too heal is to speak life into them. There are times we get frustrated and begin to condemn them for their actions and words, but if we continue to speak life into them instead of criticizing them, then God will begin to restore them, even if they are not aware of it. I know for myself that I have gotten so discouraged with the people in my life that when I hit my boiling point I would start reacting the same way they do. As a woman of God, I know that’s not what God calls me to do. I know it’s hard to live by that all the time, but that’s when the power of prayer is needed in our lives. Without prayer there is lack of communication between you and God. Without His word there is a lack of wisdom. For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6 The only way to achieve these things is to seek His face. So let us begin to discipline ourselves in our walk with the Lord. Every area in our lives needs to be disciplined. Proverbs 10:17 He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. So what does it take to live a life with Christ? It takes the fruits of the spirit. The fruits of the spirit are found in the book of Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. To live by those fruits are not always as easy as it may seem. In order to live a life of Christ and to bring back full restoration to all who were called by God, we must first die to sin. It says in Romans 6:11- So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. He is the Great Creator. He knows exactly what we need. He knows the needs of our family and desires nothing more than for all of His children to have complete healing. Will you in your own desperation cry out to the Mighty God and die to sin. Will you right now claim Victory in your life and continue to speak His words over your life and the lives of those around you? Spoken words cannot be erased so I encourage you to speak life and say because of Jesus I AM FREE of ALL negative things spoken over my life! Karen Hurl © 2016 "Aleeza"Featured Review
