The HeadHunter

The HeadHunter

The HeadHunter

-------------------------------

Once upon a time,

In a land beseiged by warriors brave

where honor was counted by the roll of the heads

lived a woman whose husband had been slain

bested by the best hunter of another village

Vowing revenge, she sought out the hunter

Sneaking into his village where he rested

Wore she seven Mekhalas when she reached his house

And opened them one by one as she charmed the hunter

when she reached the last mekhala,

Out came a Dao she concealed,

and off with his head and she sneaked out

returned to her village with her trophy that none could snare.

A Hero, a warrior brave,

and now only winds whisper of her name,

and the land embraces her as a Warrior Naga,

within its valleys and mountains

Lies many stories untold of Heroic Warriors.
