All you did,

was to fade

out of my life,

out of my sight,

and now,

all I have

is a picture

of you,

etched deep

in my memories

Happy memories

that brings pain,

to the heart,

pain unbearable

to the touch.

Now that you are gone

A rough river

now flows

between the distance

of our hearts.

And the bridge

torn asunder

within the distance

of our hearts.

As the storm rages

howling within me,

aching through me,

and the rain pours

from my eyes

and my heart.

And now,

all I have,

is a picture

of you

etched deep

in my heart.
