Sometimes all we need to do is just breathe

I feel you breathing down my neck. 
Watching my every move. 

I thought I was alone. 
You're right there. 
My head tells me just breathe. 

I see you in the shadows. 
Creeping slowly unseen. 
My heart tells me just breathe. 

I can hear you in my thoughts. 
Screaming and cursing. 
Just breathe. 

I fear you in my dreams. 
I need to remember. 
Just breathe. 

In and out. 
I just breathe. 
Harder and harder, 
As I breathe. 

Enclosed in this box. 
This world. 
This life. 
I just breathe. 

Slowly losing my breath. 
I close my eyes. 
I'm dead. 
I see a light telling me to..... 
Just breathe.
