New attraction

New attraction

A Poem by Alex Vandool

Stabbed into slow action

Slipped when end was nigh

Of the everlasting nightmare

That makes your old loves cry

That's what she thinks she thought you said

That's some holy-solely ploy

I can't blame the same emotion

Sentiment is flying by

Like time and beautied demons

The ones cowards fear to hate

What did they ever do to us

Go on tell me - hard luck, you thought too late

Be bothered

Break some sweat there

A second's praising fate

Got a hundred

By the window

Tumbling out and making weight

That's what he likes

Some compensation shrug

Battling on is only patience

Courtesy's survival's drug

I broke my will a million pieces

I spun around atrocious rhymes

In endless dark arenas

In and out of space and time
