Growing old

Growing old

A Poem by Alex Louise Edwards
"

When your growing old and worrying

"

I know I'll grow old one day,

Things will change and nothing will

Be the same.

But it doesn't stop the worry,

The groans, the moans,

The ache and the pains.

The loneliness,

The long winter on your own,

Looking at the young,

Wishing you weren't old.

Looking out the window watching the birds,

Remembering the days you were able to walk

beside them.

Watching children run around,

reminiscing on the days you could do it,

yourself,

But now your homebound.

I know I'll grow one day,

But for now I pray nothing changes,

And it all stay the same.

W0W! Extremely beautiful! :)
PS - I read your story Daniel. But I did not understand what it was about. :(
Also, there are a little bit of grammar mistakes....
