Orlando.

Orlando.

A Poem by johnnyqueer
"

My heart goes out to all those affected by the awful tragedy in Orlando. Hatred is so destructive. Spread love. Be kind.

"
Tears will wash the streets clean,
Where hatred painted it's graffiti.
It's naive to think all hearts are pure,
But I find my self guilty once in a while.
I contribute my sadness,
I'm praying for peace.

Hands will firmly grasp one another,
We will find balance and spread love.

Tears will wash the streets clean,
Where hatred has made an example.
We have an opportunity to make an example,
To not crumble, but grow stronger.
I will contribute my strength,
I will be there for you.

First, I cannot find the words to describe my feelings about the tragedy in Orlando. It seems to me to be pure evil. I am not gay but I stand shoulder to shoulder like most Americans with LGBT community. Your words, "Tears will wash the streets clean" are so powerful. Truly, love will triumph. Thank God.

Well said. It is a tragedy that this has happened again but unfortunately it won't be the last. We need to be strong against hatred of this kind. My prayers also go the families of the victims.
