Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by AleyshaRosa

I miss everything

I used to be

I love nothing

When I see

Her eyes burn

Telling me

It’s not my turn

My reflection

Is my

Deflection

Of the truth

Its never a good idea to take someone's word for it ... take a second opinion ... and then the test ... to find whose deflection it is. Nice write.

Thanks, Dayran =]
I love this.
It's simplistic, yet deep, feeling like your missing something you once where, maybe a child like innocence you once had before you've learned about things that unhinged the mystery or ruined your trust in people or society as a whole.
Truth seems to do that.
Beautiful poetry.
-Thank you.

Absolutely
Wonderful poem! I have only one thing to point out;
"My reflection
Is my
Deflection
Of the truth"
These lines throw the rhythm of the rest of the poem. Changing it to
"My reflection
Is my deflection
Of the truth"
would definitely improve this hindrance. xox

Thanks for the feedback,
And now that you point it out, I agree it's a little choppy, although.. read more
