Pecan Tree

Pecan Tree

A Poem by Analgesia

Let me carve you a piece of a pecan tree
Pick the bark
Put a heart
In the middle with our initials
Clog it up with comfort food
Serve it up with a cup of love

Let me climb up the side of a pecan tree
Shake it up
Let the nuts
Drop into a tin can-drop into a pie tin
Always fresh because companies never can can it
And eat the left overs for weeks

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
