Read on to know what Aniket Satam has to say about this week’s celeb style!Anushka Sharma

When we make the notion that the actress can’t ever go wrong, someone has to break this myth and this kalidar just does that to Ms Sharma. A perfect pastel lace anarkali is brought down by this dowdy velvet duppata.Velvet is not at all flash friendly and this flashy horror makes it look like a mini carpet wrapped around. The duppata looks plain misfit, where the color contrast is spot on.PS- Dear designers, let velvet be left for cushions and curtains. Amen

Priyanka Chopra

Ms.Chopra has taken our suggestion of going the loom way when it comes to sarees pretty seriously. This look is a tutorial on how a flashy golden kangeevaram can be worn with sassy retro panache. Fresh bunch of roses and contrasting bitsy red blouse revives this old school classic.Beyond the look-alike attempt of draping and styling of the Rekha’s kanjeevarams by certain Balan, this looks brings hope on reviving Indian hand-loom with new zest. The major glitch is the yellowness of the gold which falls flat against the sheen of the palla. The chunky pendant and bangles could have given a miss and a stack of plain glass bangles and just those jhumkis would have made a difference.

Their is nothing wrong about this look but it just doesn’t match the vibrant personality the young actress. The black instead of evening looks more mourning. What pepped up this mature dress on teenage diva is the contrast of the green ring and the soft goth meets punk de-stressed locks. It’s one of those I want to like but I really dislike kind of confused look

Jacqueline Fernandez

Her red carpet mantra of solid-colourerd gown with statement accessories seems to be an ultimate style proof quotient of evening dressing. This prom-style fuchsia dress with monochrome dior bag looks fun with the contrasting black pumps. Just one glitch, Ms.Fernandez should have a new hairstylist as we are bored watching the same old hairdos over an over again.

Sonakshi Sinha

Every time the actress gets her hair and makeup bang on, the dress lets her down. This is another classic example of this mess. The gown without the sleeve would have been a great but that lacy shoulder and sleeve details looks way too much in one design.

Kangana Ranaut

What I love about her is her innate quality to morph into any character and look! This androgynous pant suit Dior cruise number looks beyond fabulous on Ms Ranaut. She magically oscillates from desi belle to red carpet diva to this super sonic gender bender feminist avatar. From the hair to the no makeup look to the dash of the elegant t-strap sandals, Kangana nails this no nonsense fierce boy-girl chic look.
