Never Enough

Never Enough

A Poem by Alice In Wonderland

It was never enough that I stood beside you all those years,
It was never enough that I held on to you through the cold winter days,
It was never enough that I wiped away all of your tears,
It was never enough that I liked you in so many ways,

We were there together,
We felt the wind rush through our grasp in the cold of December,
You said that it was you and I now and forever,
But you didn't think that i would remember,

When you left my life went blank,
when you left I thought it was the end,
when you left my heart sank,
when you left my life darkened,

But now I am older and so much stronger,
but now I am older and I know this storm isn't over.
