Never

Never

A Poem by Jeannette Lunete

Never have I ever dreamed about standing there,
past shadows are preparing themselves for another ricochet

Never have I ever met repentance, that lustful serenity
or pushed my worlds to a steadier gravity

Never have I ever caught all the lost thoughts,
or intrigued scruple, with licentious knots

Never haver I ever meant to recognize a single glint,
but wings were cut out for my gyre, without your dint

without the "dent" of you...the gloss is blinding...but there is no feeling...

the memories ricochet...the thoughts of the other the gravity that holds us together...

and all those lost thoughts...yes..we try to recapture them and yet get knotted up in the confusion..

always confusion...but the thought of the other...a light, a glint of hope.

so glad to be reading poetry by you, again, Jeannette...

Your interpretation of the poem is on point. Thans a lot for stopping by. :)
