Frozen in Time

Frozen in Time

A Poem by Alison Victoria
"

What do you do when you're stuck?

"
I was excited to turn a new leaf.
With this i am beginning to feel greif.
A new environment, loosing the last.
Each time i go back, emptyness fills the past.

I want to go forwards but i am stuck.
Half there, half here, O! I'm out of luck.
Things i need to move forwards I can't get
I can't stay put, i am trailed like a pet.

I am being trailed into nothingness, what for?
I want a different path down to my core.
I am frozen in time, nowhere to go
I cannot wait, i need go move and grow.

While i am frozen, time still pushes on.
New things grow in spring while deers bore fawns.

I am stuck and lost on what i should do. I can't choose love nor hate, that's all i knew.
Anger shouts through my core so loud.
Sadness is afraid, not so proud.
