This morning, Glorious

This morning, Glorious

A Poem by Alistair (Ali)
"

caught Venus on a clear morning..

"
A tilley lamp
of Venus held,
immaculate, on solemn spurs
commands the fetid soul
to flourish, purged of
rancid frippery,
At last!, that mitred puritan
from white and treeless latitudes
returns a term of Nordic lore
to thorn this morning glorious.

I enjoyed your work and you are welcome my friend.

They're the ones I usually knock down.
This is an exceptionally articulate, express poem. Such images and pictures that flood that mind's eye.
