for them ... for us

for them ... for us

A Poem by Allen Smuckler

The aura emulates from

the beautiful

as they look and

discover the unionized

world we

for them …

… and they see and grow

and develop

into who and what

we expect,

and hope will come

to be

for them

for us …

… but the landing is

never precise or as

hard as we

it will be…

adults always worry

as children reassure

and offer comfort

for us …

… those precious

imaginative eyes

search the universe

for answers

and questions

we never knew to ask

for them …

… as the world

becomes more

tolerable,  acceptable

and they

teach the adults

what it means

to be honest, pure

and that all is well

for them

and for us …

We begin to

change in

to realize the

and dreams of

the next generation

for them

for us…

I enjoyed reading this optimistic write. Children are always lovable because they are innocent and inquisitive. Because of these traits, they are always an emblem of the positive traits of humanity.

True. For them and for us... because we are one in the same. I wish all the world would realize that. Great heart in this writing :) thanks

Children are our only true blessing and our only hope for the next world. A great thought expressed vary finely. Let them get the most stimulating and amazing childhood so that they can carry the blessings to the coming generations. Please accept my compliments on this great write.

My son is almost a year and a half old. And he has already changed my world in so many ways that I have a hard time even relating to my old life. And that's the things I've noticed.

Our children grow into who we build them to be. With our habits and our teachings and our emotions. Love your children, they'll love you. But, I digress

A beautiful poem of parenting. So many people just write something about their child and expect everyone to love it because it's about a kid. But you actually put effort and thought into this. You care about your poetry, not just your children. It's a good poem with a good flow and good structure. Beautiful.
