Serendipity

Serendipity

A Poem by Allen Smuckler
"

Let your imagination run wild ...

"

Good fortune, happenstance

combined that fateful day.

Through a fortuitous break

or divine intervention,

we were there at last,

the same

destination -

connected.

We were meant to do this.

From our separate ways,

and perhaps through karma

by accident … or providence

we discovered our destiny.

Due to luck, fluke, kismet,

call it what you like …

I can’t imagine

any other way.

We had

finally

met.

Sometimes we need Good fortune and luck. I enjoyed the dance of words leading to the hopeful ending. Thank you Allen for reading and the comment.

I can feel the elation & disbelief in this narrator's gob-smacked reaction. This is a pertinent message becuz millions of people become incredibly close thru ether-writing but without ever meeting. To be honest, I never expect to meet someone, no matter how much I would love to. If it happens, it would feel just like this (((HUGS)))

Well, this turn of events seems to have turned out well for you. Fate, karma, destiny, whatever. I have had friends tell me nothing happens randomly. For some reason, though, they are unable to account for lightning strikes.

Can't remember the last time I was struck by lightning ... fate, eh? Thanks for your feedback, John.
ah chance truly favors the fortunate who find eventual love. I like the message of this poem and for most circumstances when it comes to affairs of the heart this truly is the truth. It is pure luck. Very nice poem Allen thank you for sharing.
