Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus

A Poem by Allen Smuckler
"

Are we even aware...Only Ophiuchus knows.

"

Such a virtue

taken by

itself,

and then it’s you

that appears…

So I lose

my Libraness

and

become a Virgo,

as we add

another,

and try to

understand…

Am I still

the same,

or have I

become

what I dared not?

Have I gained

a new me,

or lost, what I

never had?

Only Ophiuchus knows for sure ...

Change is a part of life and many times we change with it. Some times good sometimes bad. It all depends on which path we decide to take. I like this piece for it makes me think. The flow is easy and relaxed.

Pure wisdom resides in your words. They wrangle my imagination and influence me to read every caption closely.

Yes that little addition has changed how many of us view ourselves. Have been viewing ourselves. Are we more or less because of a picture or new length between start date to ending date?? We are who we were born to be...we are who we make ourselves from challenges and adaptation. Are we still?? You have worded this poem and question very well. (that is how I read it, I may be off though, so I apologize) I am a line sprawler without this new sign...so am I less or more of one? Very well thought out expressions in here.. me thinks :) I enjoyed this piece :)

a virgo cusp to the libra! how interesting would that really be if the encoded scale would totally be trashed by the libra...i think not - that is part of their exquisite charm :)

In the end, we all become what we set out to be, even if we are not even aware of this need to be something else that we are not currently. Love this poem, and love how it makes you think. :)

Change is inevitable but that doesn't stop us from wondering if we lost or gained from it. I love the flow of this poem but even more, I love the questions you ask here. I think at some point, in some way, we all ask these same questions.

Another profound masterpiece love! To dwell on such things is needed I believe at times! So wonderful! xx

What a beauty. And in relationships we can be afraid to loose when we should be wanting to gain.
