These wounds

Dont look in my eyes

I cant make eye contact

Dont look on my arms

I have these wounds that wont seem to heal

Each and every scar

Has a story behind it

Everytime that i look at my arms

I think that im not worth the suffering

I promised that i would stop this

Because every new cut that i make

It seems to cut you deeper

This is called true love

 

You never know how much

You hurt me, your words

Hurt me more then the knife

You said if we ever ended

You Would gash your arm open

then you must have heard the sound

Of my heart hitting the pavement

You saw the look on my face and

Took it back
