Behind the eyes there hide the tears

Behind the smiles there lie the fears

Behind sweet talks there lurk the peers

Behind tamed hearts there are unshed miseries

 

Some people just see for them to hide

Some people just laugh for them to cry

Some people just talk for them to calm

Some people just live solely for love

 

Others are blind but they can feel

Others are mute but they can see

Others are deaf but they can perceive

Others are heartless; but they do believe

 

Everyone knows how to appreciate things

Everyone knows how to value their beings

Everyone knows how to say “sorry” just to forgive

But it is in their hearts to know what it truly means

 

The world is a place of mystic and tales

And we are its people, bearing knights and of maids

Each life is a story, a story woven in maze

But not all are princesses, not all wicked surrenders

Wonderful piece! My favorite stanza was the 3rd because it spoke so true to me and really touched me. This is well written and the message is powerful. This was very well penned. Great job. 100/100
