For Better

 

Nobody’s perfect

All people have flaws

Then why do you boast

When things are all just wrong

You mock those who aren’t the finest

You’re smug as if the best

You wrong the ones you don’t know

You laugh at how they fail

Remember when you’re younger

Naïve and yet to run

You tend to ask the questions

You know not all but fun

Now that you know a little

You swank as if you’re all

Remember little one,

The wisest never boast

So if you see one tripping

Failing over something

Remember all your years

Once when you were young

Naïve without a piece

Ignorant without a mind

Character still is better

Than riches or good looks

I’d rather be poor and a mind without

Than to lose my value and character to judge

A poem I made long ago. It was one of the missing poems I ranted about sometime. Actually it was an unfinished poem [all of my missing collections are undone anyway] so I decided to finish them up and finish them here. I hope you'll enjoy reading and reviewing this. My thanks in advance.
