Loves prayer

couldn't sleep last night

 

Daughter of my heart,

child of my soul,

my heart is so empty,

my soul is so cold.

I need you to be here,

to talk to right now,

my life is in shambles,

I'm loosing my way.

Everything's changing,

nothing's the same,

I feel like I'm dying,

I need you to save me.

My home is falling down,

my family disintegrating,

I can't survive this alone,

only you truly know me.

I call out to the heavens,

I scream out to the sky,

bring me my daughter,

she'll help me revive.

Oh god above me,

oh spirits around,

call to my child,

I need her.

One word,

a prayer,

a vow,

love.

ever been unable to sleep, because your brain wouldn't shut off? this is what happens when mine can't LOL

Mine never shut off last night either. =) So I pay the price for it now by passing out (See Also: Insomnia and Insomniac?)
Did you try to make the poem taper off at the end? If so, that was very good! I don't think I could pull it of. (:
