Have I turned to be a duplicate of the sun?
Hidden as the cursed one

I am pleased to find my own light
I have conquered my darkest fright

But if you must find me from universe to universe
why does it feel like you’re traveling the opposite course?

I cannot elude the disadvantage
of facing my own eclipse that swallows my courage

Have I forgotten to be the only sun?
Could I ever be your brightest one?

Self-doubt be the bane of existence, how we often douse out our own flames with endless questions which don't do us any favours.

We are our own suns in our micro-universes. At no point of time, no matter how great our love is for others, rob us of our rights to be our own suns.
