Come To Me My Darling

Come To Me My Darling

A Poem by Pauline Downie

I just felt like writing something silly and was very much focused on it rhyming.

When will you belong to me

Oh tell me please my darling

Love and loss are at my cost

I’m forever drowning.

Not good enough for you

I know

For i’m fat and farting

There it is

You shall go

Destined to be parting.

I tried to look good in your eyes

To give you a surprise

Now I’m falling desperately

Through my lasvisious cries.

Desires all but gone this day

Never are they showing

Deep within I know we are

Destined to be parting.

Come to me

Come to me

Come to me my darling.

When will you belong to me?

I know I’m fat and farting

Please don’t show

A happiness

Whenever you are leaving

I hear your mother crying

Would your father not

Be smiling?

Come to me

Come to me

Come to me my darling

I’m forever starving.
