Finding Puddles

Finding Puddles

A Poem by Amen_Poppies
"

So fun!

"
Finding puddles in the rain...
In the car I sing, to a song played a million times
Not driving of course!  "Far too young..."
Especially in the rain...

My rainboots are leaking
I don't care
The sun is M.I.A
I'm starting to care

I don't mind the rain all that bad
But when its cold...
I cant help but complain
I'm probably too old.

We're driving from school
Fresh out of class
We find a puddle
At last!

She drives through with such force
Were a herd of elephants, competing for water
Its so fun to see the water wave out
Like wings...  I don't want it to stop.

But all things have to come to an end.
The puddle fades and drains or dries up.
For, the sun can't disapeer forever
Nor, can I

For I have to find far more puddles, better.
