Destined Love

Destined Love

A Poem by Ammy Greaves

Are hearts destined to be
Or something we make for comforts in our sleep
Cause my baby is my life, my everything
Yet I can't stop thinking of this one kid
No he's not a goat just a dude
Who I've not only once or twice dreamed nude

But he's not my baby, my God sent love
I think of him alot though he wasn't sent from above.
Or was he?
Am I too young to know
Or too young to admit i was wrong
Or just upset of the hurt,
I can't see in the next one

I don't know but I love my baby, true
But I can't stop thinking of my mystery dude
His smile, the way it seduces me,
Freezes me
The way his lips call me
Reals me
Pulls me in to his fantasy world
Where I'm his only girl.

Maybe one day I might find out my destined love,
If that does exist
Until then if not my baby I shall cease to love
Until then I"ll be alone in my heart
Confused
'Til then I'll be amazed
Not by my baby, but my mystery dude.
