No Connections, Just True Artistry

No Connections, Just True Artistry

A Poem by Jesse Ampe
"

This is about how people write songs just to be popular become famous, and have all the fans and friends. In my eyes that is absolutely ridiculous. :)

"

Verse 1:

I don't have any connections

But I hope I'm doing this right

And if it makes me happy I guess it's okay

I guess it's alright

Chorus:

And Why has music lost it's way

Have they given up

Tell me have they given up

If so those facts aren't even closely related to me

Because I'm just getting started

Simply doing my own thing true artistry

Verse 2:

I don't have much else I'd rather do

So I'll grab my guitar and a couple picks and sing

And if it makes me happy I guess its okay

I guess it's alright

Chorus:

And Why has music lost it's way

Have they given up

Tell me have they given up

If so those facts aren't even closely related to me

Because I'm just getting started

Simply doing my own thing true artistry

Singing simplicity with true artistry....
