Tommy Cooper

A Poem by Amy Azra Dean
"

Love/d his humor, really he was a great magician who got his laughs from performing his tricks badly.

"
A smiling gentle giant,
the nation smiled with glee,
You make me laugh,
uncontrollably,
That trick you did with the eggs...
was performed "gracefully",
None of them broke,
Well...maybe a tray - at least!
Your comic was genius,
No one else can compare,
With your red little fez
and your sticky up hair.

I got home from work and the wife said.."I'm sorry, the Cat's eaten your dinner.....I said...."Don't worry, I'll get you a new Cat."

The man was genius
