Run

Run

A Poem by Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
"

Slowly I pick my pace up....

"

Walking slowly, I turn
only to look back
where I began

Nervous inside I try to
think why I left my
comfort zone

Always staying inside
the lines, I never
questioned life

Opening one eye at
a time, I realize
life goes on

My pulse races as
my pace turns to
a slow jog

Passing beautiful
horizons I've never
seen before

Wonderful faces
smile as I stroll
them by

Journeys around
every corner
excite me

Glancing down,
I notice no more
walking

....RUN

I am a jogger on and off, mostly in warm weather, but this one reminds me of the nice rhythmic pace and once in a while I feel like a deer and have to sprint for life.

I love the flow... the wording but most of all the positivity. The intoxicity of feeling that revival of life and spirt.
Beautiful.

The pace and the imagery are consistent, the words pound out a beat that matches the theme. Another good piece.

Moreover, it now describes what I am feeling and what I am experiencing now. Nice job! :)

the rush of life as it floods the senses. Beautifully written

This made for a wonderful read. I love the flowing feel of this as it carried like the wind or a soft whisper in my ear. I think this was so perfectly written as it gave a reader such a vivid image of something more than just words on a page. I love the connection I could feel to it.

Great Job!!!!!!!!
