Creeping.
Slow
movement.
Imperceptible.
Not noticeable.
Quietly
building,
growing.
Stalking.
Organic
development.
From within.
It came
from
within.
Molded,
shaped
by those
it’ll overwhelm,
control.
Unsuspecting.
The populace
whistled
by the
graveyard.
Growing,
attaching,
controlling.
Global.
Spreading.
Inserting.
Now
ubiquitous.
Everywhere.
In the mind.
In the soul.
Heads
in the
cloud.
Captured.
All
In the
net.
Seduction,
all succumb.
Globalized.
Never
saw it
coming.

In a short few decades it is a wonder how connected we are globally by our technology. Many had hoped it would aspire greater societal knowledge but instead it has made things worse for us as a species. It has brought out and enhanced our more vile nature. When irresponsible people have a platform to spout with evil intent it is up to us to regulate this technology so that it is not abused by a dissemination of misinformation that can cause global crisis. It's like handing a semi automatic rifle to a child and saying enjoy. Who in their right mind would be stupid enough to do that? Another important poem that should be pondered JP.
