Where the Eagle Flies

Where the Eagle Flies

A Poem by Amyrain

A pristine lake
over looked by a lush forest.
The majestic eagle
spreads it's wings
to soar above the treetops.
It swoops down
to gracefully catch a jumping salmon in it's talons.
Then he soars back up to
the top of a large Rowan tree.
Where, three young hungry babies
caw for food.
The grown eagle releases the fish
as the babies peck at the delicious feast.
The bald eagle soars once again.
