Birds and Bees

Birds and Bees

A Chapter by Ana Papaya
"

?

"
I stood there still among the trees
My breath the only sound
As the birds and bees all gathered
To meet upon sacred ground
I listened as the blue bird
Changed his solemn tune
And the honey bees stirred sweetly
Beneath the crescent moon
And still I stood among the trees
My breath the only sound
Watching as a feathered prince
Stepped forward to be crowned
"I am a bird, my Queen a bee"
He spoke to all who before him
Declaring the love within their hearts
Was all that really mattered
And with my breath the only sound
I stood among the trees
Wondering if this is what they mean
When they talk of the birds and bees

What about the Feather print?
So easily they have expressed their love and shared love with ease. Birds and Bees luck enough to hang around the trees. I like this read.

Thank you kindly my friend.
You sort of think this should be the birds and the bees. Certainly a whole lot nicer than the stalk flying through the air. Great write.

Thank you too Ana...
A wonderful nature poem, must be those Canadian sensibilities, hewers of wood and haulers of water and all.
One small thing...He spoke to all had gathered...maybe...He spoke to all who gathered. Other than that a great piece.
