~

i know it was not all your fault
but who am i to blame
when i bleed out all the love inside
all i’m left with is your name

and you’re standing there
did you ever care
did i fall again
can you climb back in

let me tie a ribbon
to remind you
i’m the one at home and
you’re always being lied to

oh sure, of course it’s all ok
you know sometimes i just get this way
don’t worry about me
i’m alright babe
sometimes i just get this way
but it’s all ok
we’re past the blame

i've bled out all the love inside
all i have now is your name

The last line speaks volumes, and so loudly too. Never thought of that ultimate memento of name before, but now thinking "Typical guy, missing that one."
Almost blaming self in order to end/ defuse/ escape screams in large bold print too. Not so surprising when you think about how much they have changed you from who and how you were that your pretending at the end because of his pretence at the beginning.
Your words always shout/ echo and haunt Ana, but only in a good way 😀

So sad when it reaches that point but then it might just be time to move on- touching words of many truths🌹

You are welcome my friend.
What a desperate collection of word. For someone to feel like this is heart-breaking.. To pretend to understand to take the blame would surely make you, whoever, feel so alone, isolated I do wonder if what you are and do is indeed an unselfish Love. A distorted love, yes.. but.. .?

This is raw and tragic and - written so well..

Thank you so much for that.
very sad when the name is all that is left...and whatever caused him to stray, remains as nameless...
