soft flutters

soft flutters

A Chapter by Ana Papaya
"

~

sweet words
whispered, sotto voce
spill off your tongue in warm waves
as your lips graze my ear lobe
releasing butterflies
from slumber
with the softest flutters

Wow...
so THAT'S how romance is supposed to be written...
Wow, i feel like a clod.
Just a seven thumbed halfwit fumbling about with ladybugs in the corner of the room, and smiling like he's accomplished something.
Damn... Just wow.
I'll try to remember this lesson.
I think we'd all do well to remember it.

Ha! :)
That's kind of funny.
I've read yours, you do romance quite well. So shut up.

Thank you, but at best it's nonsensical madness that pushes the line of "should I call the cops?"read more

it's fun reading poems I missed when you first posted them.... I get to say things like "WOW" and ***SIGH*** a lot... it is funny how some of your softly spoken words leave me with only one word, but wanting to say so many more, if only they could get past the wows and sighs....

Wonderful brevity Ana. Truly romantic and remembered so well. Ah those butterflies how they danced and did somersaults.
