sown and sprinkled
shoveled and tossed
    burying all
       until all was lost

and from the ground
                  rose something new
a seed to bloom
pure and true

               risen from
       rising above
dirt

Risen from dirt. I like that so much.
Although you could apply that to damn near anything and everyone, I feel like it's reserved for those rare flowers that sprout from seemingly nowhere, with no one's care or help or attention but their own.

From little acorns a mighty oak grows - your words remind me that even the smallest gesture of compassion can grow into a mountain of love - Great wordplay and lovely read (many an interpretation can be imagined from this write) - bravo ... :-)

thanks for that really great comment!
Rising above the dirt; sometimes a seemingly impossible task.

An inspirational and beautifully rhymed poem.

A beautiful poem for nature. She is a miracle. Roses show us. We are surrounded by the gifts of nature. Thank you Ana for the amazing poetry.

no problem you are most welcome
we all come from dirt and eventually return to it...

Thank you Jacob!
From our unwanted, blooms life. Beautifully expressed as always Ana. Sometimes we can look at all that is around us and be humbled. And it's mostly free, what more do people want?
