~

i watched a woman die today
with a tender touch i gently closed her eyes
her soul set free to rise above the sky
and she never looked happier to me

:)
Exactly how someone would want to be remembered. Smiling hard right now.
Hope to be so lucky myself, someday

Gee
Tis better to succumb than suffer methinks.
Tenderly sad, touching.

Agree. :)
Thanks Gee. Bit of a late reply. Sorry.
Some are happy to go and I can think of no better way to go, than with a smile on your face. A peaceful death. Sadly it is often not the case. Moving lines Ana.

Unfortunately yes!
Finally free, from the weighted tomb of flesh, we shall all soar into whatever we truly are. Even if we are but a wisp, I know that wisp will be smiling, as she soars without constraint.
