I would give you my last breath
in the shape of a kiss
so that you know
as everything else dies
my love has not

Ah... wouldn't that how real love feels like...you want to gift every bit of you....even your last of bits to them..... wonderfully done... I am in awe ...such short and sweet poem..:)

Gee
And if I were 20 years younger and single I would accept, oh, and not cross dressing :))

I'm happy you've outgrown cross-dressing
:)
You wasted no words. The poetry, so honest and true. We learn the value of the kiss. Because a permanent memory. Thank you Ana for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome dear Ana.
something tells me this might be the real thing, but then.. you are clearly a poet, so it may be just poetic license .. however, regardless of autobiographical or romantic imagination and artistic flair.. tis very sweet and good and.. and and... N

Beautiful, words Ana, When love dies, it takes away a huge part of you with it. Love hurts, but so does the alternative. It is all we can hope for really, to be remembered with fondness and love, no matter what gets thrown in the way.
Oh, and good coffee too, but mostly to love and be loved.

Thank you Lorry. :)
And speaking of coffee.... I need a whole lot.
i think love lasts much past the physical realm...
we die with it still in us...and it never leaves.

I like to think that too. :)
These lines brought a lump to my throat. So touching Ana. Your muse is with you.

Thank you Chris. I appreciate your kindness here very much.
Your brevity always touches me. Nothing different here, just brilliant consistency!
