I can still feel the shape of you

and your warmth
against my back

fingertips falling like snowflakes
that melt upon a touch

I used to think it was all too much

now that you're gone I know
it could never have been enough
you will always be my love

and I will always be looking back
for a way to save you

if only there were things in life
that we could undo

how do we undo what has been done?? this is a poem that hits close to home for me Ana... you can only cherish the good/times that you had, these memories of his warmth on your back, and many more as well... they will (and him with them) always be there... why this poem hit home was because of me, my mistakes and the times, but I will always remember her taste and scent and how she made me feel...

your poem is so tender Ana and I enjoyed where it took me...

This is one of the sweetest, most delicately-put, yet most intense expressions of longing that I've ever heard or read. I usually don't like messages that dwell on regret, but this is so true-to-life for the way we humans often carry around some lifelong smoldering regret (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
