Love Neverlasting

Love Neverlasting

A Poem by Analae
"

What happens to your heart when you break up?

"
Never thought about 'I Love You'
Till the day you walked through my door

You took my hand
The next thing i know
I'm dancing on a silver floor
How wonderful this could've been
Though I know its no more
Dreams are falling through the hole
in the middle of the silver floor
Your hand, just a memory
Wiping the tears from my eyes
Now I see my heart's remains
On the broken, silver floor
I see the words 'I love you'
strewn about on my floor
I watch the wind as it comes through my window
Heads for the door
While all it leaves are 'I' and 'you'
While 'love' walks out my door.
