Metaphorical Car Crash

Metaphorical Car Crash

A Poem by Anaya

Thoughts fill
My mind
Trickling down
My worn out spine.
Crossing blindly
Through the
Solid line.
Let's hope someone
Catches me
In time.
Before I crash
Into those cars
Or those
Solid looking
Yellow bars.
Maybe the crash
Will send me flying
To a nice place
Like mars.
It's too late
I crashed
My blood
All over
The dash.
Why am
I still alive
This crash
Was supposed
To be
My last.
To be the thing
That freed
Me From
My demon-baring past.
