"Walking Through A Field ...of thoughts."

"Walking Through A Field ...of thoughts."

A Poem by Chris
"

A Thursday thought

"

"Walking Through A Field ...of thoughts."

I came by to pause again
…and taste the sun...
strange how the scents change to suit
the where and when we are
each who we are
how we …are
and so few seem to notice.

we are often told to "stop and smell the roses".. but you are right.. few of us really do except on occasion.. or perhaps in time.. is it an aquired taste.. one that must be cultivated.. and maybe we need some one.. or thing.. to nudge us into that cultivation..

Rene, I appreciate you're coming by man...thanks.
A thoughtful writing, as always, Chris. You always have a message of significance. I think many drift in this virtual world, and feel less responsibility or inclination to pause and stay connected, say a hello, or ask "how are you, today?" It takes an awareness of surroundings.
A wonderful write, my friend.

I like this- so few seem to notice because they are too busy to realize. I enjoyed this, thanks Chris.

So very true, and quite tragic when something becomes spoiled forever by association. I'm taking it a bit farther there but isn't even that the complex road of life, how one thing changes our experience/association with a smell or a song....

Hi Chris,

Yes our moods and mindset so color the world. They can change the beautiful into the ugly and vice versa. And you're right. This doesn't seem to be widely acknowledged, but it is so true.

Wonderful insight expressed so concisely. Greatly enjoyed.

Best regards,

Rick
