"Starlight, Star Bright..."

"Starlight, Star Bright..."

A Poem by Chris
"

Monday thoughts

"

It isn’t because of Spring… you are a because of breathing.

Dreams are such terrible nothings to release…

"Starlight, Star Bright..."

Some thoughts just ...don't... fade

I don't want them to

won't let them

CAN'T let... them - you...

expand into nothing

which is all I ever had

and ever will

...'cept each breath I held so TIGHT

- within -

as I dreamed and touched

my star...

Now, this write I finally can see the poet in you. Nice lines and it causes one to stop and think of something you never want to let go of.. Valentine

I love this! especially how to everyone tis poem will mean something different, they will connect to it in different ways, welcoming the poem into their hearts, soothing their own inner "star".

Stars do exist for those who know to look at them. I never touched a star, but I feel your poem is deeply emotional ...I love that balance between nothingness and filled spaces within, and after all this is the essence of a star. Maybe a little bit of Yin and Yang here.

I am glad you paused with me... come by anytime at all.
I wonder where all the little twinkling moments go
Do they fly ..or float somewhere over a rainbow
Or are they held deep inside.. till we.. fade away..

Chris this is so lovely ..soft and a little sad
Hold on to those stars so bright
They are what keeps us warm
In that lonely night...

Your style is so unique, and your writing never disappoints, it speaks softly, yet loud enough to be clear. Another beautiful thought, beautifully penned.
