Haiku and some thoughts

 

“History…”

 

“ “There …was a sparrow…”

“Really!”… It was just right …there…

…but now there isn’t…

Life has a way of “burping”

- moments …just…go…away.

Uh, the old-bit-bucket in the sky…

 

Are memories any less real -

because you forgot them for a moment? -

maybe to re-remember them some tomorrow?

- or not -

 

Today went away for some -

…today’s ALWAYS go away …for some…

I think we have all been …there,

- or will be -

and most likely more than a time or three.

And tomorrow’s WILL go away for others…

don’tcha know!

 

But some seem to always live their yesterdays -

- our yesterdays -

and yesterdays, and yesterdays…

How DO they do that?

How do we?

Perhaps worse -" “Why?”

 

“How CAN they?”

- how dare they… take other’s tomorrows

…and live them…

just because they can?

This is difficult to review Chris.

We seem to forget history when it would benefit us most and forget to live now because we fear tomorrow…. It is a condition of human insanity.

History repeats itself. There are many who will have no tomorrows because they are snuffed out by oppressors. All over the world it happens and has happened, and it will continue to happen because our species can not live in peace and harmony. It makes me mad as well as sad, because the vast majority of people on this planet want to live a peaceful life. Such topical thoughts.

I can identify with all of these. Time is an ellusive passer-by, forgetting our names. And the last bit made me think of those who rob others time by a mean end.

just because they can?

it's the "just because they can" part that really got me.. they can because we are letting them.. we are addicted to all the toys they gave us.. our hand held tethers to their click bate.. and that isn't even all of it.. why should we be uncomfortable for someone else's cause.. and the media is very good at making it seem like it is someone else's cause.. until we are the next target.. every tactic the oppressors are using right now can and will be turned on the rest of us.. and so I say "choose your causes carefully.. you may be next"

I don't have to agree with anyone to defend their right to be wrong.. it's my right too..
